The past few months have been exceedingly busy in a very good way. Thankfully I’ve been blessed with many photography opportunities and my other online occupation is bustling, as well!
Here’s a peek at what I’ve been up to. 
True to my need to constantly create, I’ve made a bucket list of some of the things I want to accomplish with photography. I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to collaborate with creative individuals for styled fashion and bridal photo shoots. Arkeeology – A 2011 Recap, Part 1

Ahem! Yes, it’s two months into 2012, but it’s never too late to get my official 2011 recap off and rolling!
To say 2011 was memorable is the understatement of, well, 2012! In the past year I grew so much as a photographer and achieved my goal of capturing intrinsic joy in each and every one of my photography sessions.
2012 has been a fruitful year so far, and I feel so blessed to have some truly incredible opportunities come my way. I am incredibly thankful for the people who’ve come across my path in this crazy thing called life to push me to LIVE my passion for photography.
My goals for 2012 are to capture more family sessions, portrait sessions, maternity sessions, engagements, and weddings and I would LOVE to work with designers on high-fashion shoots. I’m looking forward to another incredible year and can’t wait to take you along for the ride!

The Shriver Family: Fullerton Arboretum

When I moved to Southern California from Northern California several years ago, Aminah was one of my first co-workers and friends at MAC Cosmetics. Besides being a genuinely sweet and nice person, Aminah has always had a killer sense of style. I remember thinking back then that if she ever had a daughter, she would be the most stylish little girl of all time. Time did not prove me wrong!
Marlow is just as sweet as her mama and we had a blast shooting family photos at the Fullerton Arboretum. This family is so incredibly loving and inspirational. We laughed the entire time, enjoying the adorable Marlow, one of the most professional models I’ve ever worked with. She learned all her moves from America’s Next Top Model, FYI.

Fairytale Pumpkin Season

I just adore Fall. Along with Spring, it is one of my favorite times of the year. From the vibrant colors, tasteful smells, and the fact that it’s the time for National Steal Your Kids Candy Day.
I’d never seen Fairytale pumpkins until a couple of years ago, and I think they are incredible. Who knew pumpkins besides the regular old round variety existed?
